Term 6 Week 7 13th July

Dear Elder,

Welcome to your last week of full Seesaw work! Mrs Bennett will continue to join you there and I will take a look whenever I get the chance.

You have done fantastic things this term and I am extremely proud of you.

This week, we will be rounding off our learning about play scripts and recapping our Maths learning in a few quizzes. Your guided reading this week is a choice of activities which I hope you will enjoy.

We will finish off our Science and History, then take a virtual school trip to Iceland in Geography to see all of our learning points in the real world. Then, at the end of the week, there are some transition tasks to help Miss Doone get to know you better, and to help excite the Year 4’s who are moving up to Year 5 in September: it should be an exciting week!

If you have not already done so, please draw your paper person self-portrait using the template from Week 6, then submit it on Seesaw or email it to me by Wednesday 15th July, so that I can create a class photo for you. Don’t forget to remind your friends: you all need to do this for the picture to work.

Don’t forget to practise your times tables on Times Tables Rock Stars and read a great book every day. If you’ve run out of books, your local library will have lots of great e-books on their website that you can access from home! See here: https://eastsussexlibrary.overdrive.com/library/kids/browse

Next week will be a week for you to rise to Times Table Rock Star fame, read your books and catch up with any work you may have missed and want to revisit on Seesaw.

I look forward to seeing you all in the final week of term.

All the best,

Miss Lester
