Free Climate Listening Circle

10th September 2026
Dear Families,

Please see below an invitation to a free climate listening circle from Parent for Future Lewes.

We’re inviting parents, carers and teaching staff from Lewes schools to a free Climate Listening Circle — a supportive space to connect with others and share how the climate crisis is affecting us.

Tuesday 15 September
6:30–8:00pm
Chapter House (small hall behind Southover Church)
Access via 1 Cockshut Road, Lewes
Free to attend

We know that the climate crisis can bring up many different feelings — anxiety, grief, anger, overwhelm or uncertainty. This gathering offers a chance to talk about those feelings openly, as well as our worries for our children’s future, without needing to have answers or solutions.

The circle will be held by psychotherapist Jack Broadley, who runs the regular Climate Listening Circle at the Climate Hub.

This is an adults-only space for parents, carers and teaching staff, and is not suitable for children.

Whether people have been thinking about the climate crisis for years or are only just beginning to find space for how it affects them, you’re welcome to join us.

Please let us know you’re joining by sending an email to Parentsforfuture.lewes@gmail.com so we can keep you updated if logistics change.

Kind regards,

Poppy Martin
