Seedy Saturday - 7th February, Lewes Town Hall

6th February 2026
Dear Families,

I am delighted to announce that we will be selling greetings cards tomorrow at the annual Seedy Saturday event at Lewes Town Hall. This will be the 4th consecutive year we have had a stall at the event. This year's theme is pollinators, and the artwork and research has been completed by Year 6. As always, profits from the sale of the cards will fund future arts and outdoors enrichment projects at school. I will be running the stall, alongside some Year 6 volunteers. If you are passing, do come and say hello! The event opens at 10am, and runs until 3pm.

As usual, the greetings cards have a QR code on the back, which links to the children's research about the species, and images of their artwork on the first page. It is a dynamic QR code, which means that the linked information can be added to over time. The cards are designed to spread awareness about the theme of the cards. This year's theme is all about pollinators, and we will be adding to it over the coming weeks and months to share how people can protect pollinators and promote biodiversity. Please see the attached PDF to view the QR code document in its current form.

As always, this project could not happen without the help and support of our families; thank you again to Cloud for collating the artwork to collate the greetings cards, and to Maxine for photographing the artwork. Thank you also to the Year Six children for all of their hard work and dedication throughout the project.
